As the owner, CEO, and President of MTA Melissa provides senior executive direction with strategic vision, planning, and financial execution. Melissa serves as a member on the Board of Directors for the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce.

Bob Gordon, PMP

Bob leads the company’s current Programs and Contracts, Strategy Formulation, and Business Development opportunities. He is a retired Marine Corps Officer, is a graduate of the Naval Postgraduate School, and is active with Leadership Greater Huntsville.

Matt Chalmers
Director of Operations
Matt oversees the company’s business operations of Information Technology (IT), Security, DFARS compliance, ISO certifications, Human Resources, and Contracting. He has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and is a retired US Army Veteran.

Rick provides program management for current prime contracts and subcontracts supporting the CCDEVCOM Aviation and Missile Center and the National Guard Bureau. He is a retired UH-60 Black Hawk Helicopter Repairer.

MTA, Inc. provides technical expertise to the Engineering Directorate of the Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDEVCOM) Aviation & Missile Center at Redstone Arsenal in the areas of Quality Engineering; Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) Engineering and Analysis; and System Assessments across Army aviation and missile programs throughout their phases of weapon system design, development, production, fielding, and disposal.
Spanning multiple Army aviation platforms including AH-64, CH-47, UH-60, Future Vertical Lift (FVL), and Improved Turbine Engine Program (ITEP), MTA scores maintenance data using the Government’s Aviation System Assessment Program (ASAP) database and identifies and analyzes maintenance trends, assesses areas for possible improvement, and recommends solutions in order to improve fleet readiness.

MTA has provided formal baseline management and control for numerous Software Enterprise projects. Training, QA/QC, Inventory Management, End-User Support
For over 20 years, MTA, Inc. has provided various Integrated Logistics Support services to both the Joint Attack Munitions System (JAMS) Project Office aboard Redstone Arsenal, the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Office located in Huntsville, Alabama, and the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. MTA provides comprehensive support to the JAMS Project Office with Maintenance Planning, Field Support Planning, Material Readiness, and Sustainment Training and Execution for the 70-mm Hydra Rocket and HELLFIRE Missile. We work closely with the Army-wide JAMS units across supply, maintenance, new equipment training, fielding, and live fire testing activities. Our support to the Corps of Engineers office provides Training services for the DD Form 1391 Processor System, Quality Control and Quality Assurance, Documentation and Reporting, and Helpdesk Support for over 1,700 users. Through our partnership with NASA and the Johnson Space Center, MTA provides new and innovative tools to enhance IT troubleshooting and performance, while also directly supporting the Flight Operations Directorate, Senior Executive Services (SES) Staff, and NASA Astronauts. Through the logistical management functions of procurement, inventory control, regulated issue, tracking and disposal, Helpdesk support, and system/component troubleshooting, our NASA Team plays a crucial role in our Nation’s quest for space superiority.
