Configuration Management

Our configuration management capability jump-started in 1990 when MTA was awarded a contract to provide life cycle software engineering services to the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command’s Armaments Research, Development and Engineering Center at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. MTA has greatly expanded its capability, now supporting the PATRIOT family of weapon systems for Lower Tier Project Office (LTPO) at Redstone Arsenal, AL (follow-on contracts since 1994). MTA is a member of the Functional Configuration Audit (FCA) Team and ensures that requirements set forth in Prime Item Description (PID) are correctly implemented and tested for each Computer Software Configuration Item (CSCI). Our subject matter experts also serve on the Picatinny Configuration Management and Library System Management (CM/LSM) Project Team.
